Welcome to “The White Campus” University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). UMM is an exotic campus which was built around the topography of the land. The land contained hills, bamboo trees and the Brantas River. The campus is green, lovely, picturesque, shady and certainly comfortable for studying.
Muhammadiyah university of malang is private colleges in the city of Malang. University that was founded in 1964, is centered on the organization Muhammadiyah.Malang is a hilly city surrounded by four mountains: Panderman, Arjuno, Wilis, and Semeru. Being 550 metres above sea level, Malang has a cool climate which ranges from 23.37 0C – 30.01 0C. With these conditions Malang is well known as a City of Flowers and a City of Education. Owing to these conditions many students from other parts of Indonesia and overseas choose to study in Malang.
UMM is one of the fast-growing university,so by the leader of Muhammadiyah was mandated as a college coach for the entire PTM (University of Muhammadiyah) eastern Indonesia.The programs are carefully designed to make UMM as “The Real University”, one that is truly in the sense that the university as an institution of higher education who always commit in developing Tri Darma Higher Education.UMM has three campuses in which the locations are strategic and accessible via land, air or sea transportation. Over 20,000 students, both domestic and foreign, are studying at UMM. Our foreign students have come from countries such as: Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Egypt, East Timor, Europe, and America.
At present the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) campus occupies three locations, namely in the way of college I benduangn bandung, Sumbersari campus and two at three campuses in tegal Gondo. Campus which is the forerunner of the UMM,and now is concentrated to the graduate program. While the campus II which was a major activity center, now in the concentrate as a medical school campus and D3 college nursing program. While college campuses III as an integrated whole essence serve as the center of activity.
